2003 News
November 8th
**Beavers finish season with post-season banquet. About 300 people
attend the year end event. WWCB gave an offensive (Kiel Wolf) and defensive (Trevor Kressler) player of the year award and the coaching
staff awarded the "Hammer" (Special Teams MVP) to Greg Murphy.

November 1st
**Beavers WIN season Finale 40-12. Tyler Soety rushed for
139 yards, Bill Chase returned a fumble 29-yards for a TD,
Kiel Wolf returned a Kickoff for 80-yards, Greg Murphy added
a 63-yard TD run.
**Congratulations guys, this victory was well deserved.

October 25th
**Beavers lose ECL finale 42-7
**JV team finishes season on losing note. 26-14
Finish the season with a 2-6 record.

October 18th
** Beavers lose 35-0 to playoff bound Girard
**JV team loses another tight game, 14-8

October 11th
**Beavers show much improvement but still come out on wrong
end of 26-6 score against Fort LeBoeuf. Greg Murphy rushed
for 84 yards and scored the Beavers only TD.
**JV team loses hard fought battle to Fort LeBoeuf 14-8

October 9th
**Middle School team falls to 2-2 with lose to Habor Creek 20-8

October 5th
**Beavers lose homecoming game 26-0.
**JV Team WINS! Saturday the Junior Varsity team wons its second
game of the season, when Brenden Carney sneaked the ball over the
goalline with less than 10 seconds to go to win 14-8.

October 1st
**Corry Middle School team kicks off Homecoming Week with
27-14 WIN over Iroquois.
**Homecoming Parade from YMCA to High School 5:30pm,
Bonfire to be held after parade, approx. 7pm @ HS
**Tailgate party and Chicken BBQ with WWCB before the game..

September 28th
**Beavers fall to Northwestern 35-6
**JV team loses 36-0

September 24th
**Fort LeBoeuf beat Corry Middle School team 12-0

September 20th
**Fairview wins saturday afternoon game 22-0, After a scoreless
first half. The Tigers capitalized on 3 second half turnovers by
the Beavers.

September 18th
**Middle school team loses on last second field goal 9-6

September 13th
**Beavers turn the ball over five times, lose 35-8 to North East.
Senior Quarterback Derek Baker scored the Beaver lone touchdown. Baker also completed 11 of 21 passes for 121 yards. Sophomore Will McCray lead the team in receiving with 6 catches for 60 yards. Sophomore Justin Nutt had 5 rushes 37 yards to lead the Beavers on the ground.
Tyler Soety added the two-point conversion.
**JV team earns shut out WIN 6-0! Brandon Eck had the lone
score for the Beavers. 

September 11th
**Beavers WIN opening Middle School game of the
year 33-28 over Northwestern. Joel Oesch lead the charge
with three touchdown runs of 10-yards, 68-yards and 20-yards.
Taylor Goodwill added two touchdowns of 40-yards and 26-yards..

September 6th
**Corry shows improvement but falls to returning
D-10 AAA Champion General McLane 48-6
**JV team loses 21-0
Home Friday verses North East (1-1) 7:30PM

August 31st
**Beavers lose season opener 40-0. Corry lost 3 starters
in the first quarter due to injuries.
**Saturday the JV team lost a hard fought game 22-6.
